Knežević family is in winemaking for generations now. We are honoring the tradition of our forefathers but also embracing the contemporary wine producing technologies, to create the best possible wines and showcase the most valuable aspects of Montenegrin wine culture.
Monte Grande trademark was registered in 2014, starting with our flagship range of Red, White and Rose. Since, we have launched more than few Limited Editions of our super premium wines. However, that was not the start of the family winemaking saga. We have been wine makers for the past 4 generations as a regional traditional winemaking household with the last two generations having a Enology degree from the faculty of agricultural Technologies with experience of more than 50yrs total in running a small and large scale wine producing entities.
